Rebecca Kennedy is an independent English consultant who works with primary schools and multi-academy trusts to support the development of high-quality English teaching and literacy practice. She is a member of the committee for the National Association of Advisers in English and is part of a collaborative research group exploring non-fiction and the teaching of English alongside colleagues from the National Association of Advisers in English, United Kingdom Literacy
Association and Just Imagine. Rebecca has previously worked as an associate consultant for Centre for Literacy in Primary Education and the Open University
Reading for Pleasure team. She has contributed to a number of United Kingdom Literacy Association publications and served on the editorial board for English 4–11. Rebecca is co-facilitator of the West Midlands Primary English Network (PEN).
