Overview

R(S)HE in the primary curriculum

Relationships (and Sex) and health education, ideally within a wider framework of PSHE education, has been statutory in the primary curriculum since September 2020. Few ITE training courses give trainees very much grounding in this important subject, which contributes to children’s personal development, but can also improve their learning and life chances.

This webinar will provide some essential tools to enable colleagues to develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence in aspects of pedagogy and professional practice to enable them to teach potentially sensitive topics within this essential curriculum component.
