Overview

DSL Coffee Morning

We ask that schools only book once on this course, so as to give others a change to access. Due to effective group supervision guidelines the numbers are restricted to only 8 per session. If you book and cannot attend let us know, so we can allocate your place to someone else. We will keep a waiting list for those who book late.

No more than 2 people from the same school. If there are two people from the same school, they should join the zoom from their own laptop in a different room. This is so they feel safe in their own space to participate. There will be a stimulus to the beginning of each session, this will be different on each occasion and relevant to time of year or safeguarding on the national stage From the stimulus, the session is very much guided from the delegates; perspectives and is tailored to their needs.

Whether you are a coffee drinker or not, any beverage is about the right combination to refreshment and nutrition! The DSL Coffee Morning is no different. Each session, eight DSLs have the opportunity to:

09:00 - 10:30: Receive refreshment through CPD exploring 'How to enable others to play their part in leading safeguarding' - including leading a whole school approach to safeguarding. This includes top tips, case studies and practical tools. This is led by Helen Masters #TeamADL - open to all

10:45 - 12:00: Be nurtured through a Groups Supervision Session. This is led by Jenny Bowers #TeamADL Supervision is about the three Rs: resolve, restore and reset. Places limited to 8

What Teachers Say

What others say

Thank you so much for this morning, I found it incredibly helpful and inspiring.

An excellent session which enabled me to be reflective on how I communicate with staff. Great clarity rooted in experience with anecdotal examples. My first experience of supervision, this gave me a great deal to ponder.
