Art and design is not traditionally a subject that has been assessed in great depth at the primary phase. However, this has all changed and subject teachers must now ensure children are aware of their own attainment and understand what changes they need to make in order to improve. This session will help you do this using classroom based techniques that help you assess art with confidence. It will also show you how assessment influences your day to day planning and affects your art curriculum.
