“I’m developing my high- quality teaching, my behaviour management approach and getting to know the children in my class … how do I support a high number of SEND in my classroom as well?”
This is a familiar question amongst trainees and those early on in their career pathway. In this session, Anita Devi will model and share different approaches to managing a learning environment with a high number of needs. Participants will be expected to bring to the session class lists, seating plans and information about needs in the classroom. The session will be a practical hands-on workshop approach. By the end, it is envisaged participants will leave with a clear plan of action for at least one of their classes and strategies for managing a high number of SEND needs in any class.
