Inspiring and Motivating More Able Learners -

Objective:How can high potential learners best be challenged, inspired and engaged in the inclusive classroom?

This workshop will introduce the Significant Seven, a simple framework for planning learning efficiently and effectively, and provide take-away ideas to implement the very next day. High challenge and expectations will motivate and engage high potential learners but also have the potential to raise achievement for all learners.

Partner Schools can engage in the full programme for £500.00 or £50 .00 per person per session on any element of their choice (up to 2 colleagues per session)

Affiliate Schools can engage in the full programme for £700.00 or £70.00 per person per session on any element of their choice (1 colleague per session only)

Non member schools can engage in the full programme for £800.00 or £80.00 per person per session on any element of their choice (1 colleague per session only)

About The Course

Inspiring and Motivating More Able Learners - Objective: How can more able learners best be challenged, inspired and engaged in the inclusive classroom?

The Significant Seven provides a framework for teachers to inspire and challenge more able learners so they are engaged and motivated. Participants will find out what the Seven factors are and how they can be implemented in the inclusive classroom no matter what resources they have.

About the Programme Leader

Rebecca Howell Senior Education Consultant, Potential Plus UK Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead​

Rebecca has overall responsibility for Potential Plus UK’s assessment service, advice service and professional development. She often works on the development of new services and improvements. In addition, she has founded and runs our online communities. Her background is in educational research and school leadership support. Rebecca is currently a Chair of Governors at The Hazeley Academy and a Trustee of the 5 Dimensions Multi-Academy Trust.​She is the parent of three children with high learning potential, two of whom have additional learning needs. Her eldest two have left home and are studying and working in Denmark.​In any free time she happens to find, Rebecca dances modern jive, blues and tango and enjoys attending events that incorporate those. She also likes travelling, reading, running, hiking and going to the theatre.
