About The Course

Place value is key to understanding number and being able to calculate. Children need to understand what a number or numeral looks like, proportionality and ultimately what each digit represents when presented with the abstract. During this course, you will look at, see in action, various key resources currently used in school. There will be time to explore several games and activities; including problem solving, which can be easily incorporated into you daily mathematics lessons. Post attendance, delegates will be sent a folder of key documents and a copy of the presentation as a pdf file.
