Join us for this package of three webinars which have been designed to provide insightful CPD opportunities for your early years team.
£125 per person to attend all 3 sessions
£50 per person per session otherwise
Each session will identify the key elements of the new Development Matters document and will examine its use as a supporting document for the revised EYFS. We will be considering the implications for staff expertise and examining how we can use it to support both our practice and as a tool to help support the implementation of the revised EYFS.
You will also receive additional resources to support you with evaluating provision, practice and pedagogy.
Part 1: Exploring the Seven Key Features of Effective Practice
This session will look at each feature in turn and ask participants to consider how these relate to the new EYFS, current practice and adult expertise.
Part 2: Supporting the Prime Areas
This session will look at how the document has been designed to support practice and curriculum development; as well as consider the role of the observation checkpoints in supporting learning.
Part 3: Supporting the Specific Areas
This session provides an overview of how the document has been designed to support adults in providing learning experiences across these elements of the EYFS curriculum and asks participants to consider what may need to be developed further.
