The Learning Partnership has commissioned Andrew Wrenn to lead an online professional learning community focused on primary History.

Having to teach primary history for the first time? Would you like to boost your confidence by being clearly shown what the National Curriculum requires in content and concepts?

Would you like some practical ideas you can adapt regardless of content? Then this webinar is for you,aiming to equip you with an overview of curriculum requirements which should help to plug any gaps from your training

Comprising two sessions (each between 45 and 60 minutes) per term focusing on a specific area. . Session 1: engage colleagues in a lecture style webinar exploring a key issue, area, piece of knowledge, resource or strategy. Inter-session activity Session 2: discourse session, exploring the activity and further thinking. The session will also allow for sharing practice.

Colleagues will have the opportunity to access a secure online discussion board should they wish, enabling the building of a community, plus some connection with the course tutor to respond to and support. There is an additional charge of £10 per person per session for this facility. **please state at point of booking if you wish to have access to the online discussion board (make a note in the 'Special requirements' box of the booking form)
