A crucial briefing for all Heads and EYFS Leads planning next steps and preparing for change in the EYFS

Join us online for this National Briefing, as Early Excellence help leaders to prepare for the start of the revised EYFS in September 21.

Whilst work to familiarise staff with the new frameworks and associated guidance will have already begun, it is vital for EYFS & senior leaders to feel confident about how their teams will implement these changes, aligned with their school vision – and this is our focus.

During the briefing you will explore the latest updates and gain help to navigate your way through the guidance at a strategic and practical level – and you will hear from Early Adopters who will share how their growing understanding of the revised framework and supporting documentation, including Development Matters, has helped them to manage change. Their experiences will be an invaluable resource in helping us to prepare.

About the Programme Leader

Maria Moon, Senior Team, Early Excellence

I am a very dedicated, passionate individual who has worked within the early years sector for over twenty years within the PVI sector and the maintained sector as well as an adviser for the local authority.

I believe that I have a very secure understanding of what makes a quality early years setting which is demonstrated by my CPD record. This is something that I feel is imperative in ensuring a highly skilled and motivated worksforce is in place to support children through those formative and crucial early years stages.

I feel that I empower people and am very intutive in assessing the individual needs of people I work with to ensure they feel a trustworthy and empowering professional relationship is in place.

I feel my experience has afforded me the opportunity to be able to identify niches within the market to ensure competative edges are in place and that my experiences of working with a wide range of professionals from all disciplines is imperative.
