How to choose and use texts to enrich vocabulary and inspire opportunities for writing. How to increase choice, voice and motivation as writers among your children. Providing a range and breadth of meaningful writing opportunities to extend children’s understanding of purpose, audience and form based on a quality text. Encouraging children to use and apply grammatical knowledge to impact the reader. How to support writing fluency including contextualised teaching of spelling.
