This is an opportunity to receive up-to-date guidance on important topics in primary language teaching. You'll also have a chance to share best practices and discuss challenges with other professionals, helping you to further develop your subject knowledge and leadership skills.
16th October 2025: Effective Coordination (including preparation for Ofsted) Enhance your knowledge of Primary Languages, including national guidelines and inspection preparation. Whether you are new to the subject lead role or have experience, this session will help you maximize your impact in your school. The session includes an action planning component, so you will leave with practical ideas for future development.
5th February 2026: Adaptive teaching and SEND provision Discover a variety of proven strategies to ensure all students can access primary language learning, regardless of their individual needs. The session will include a brief case study activity, allowing you to apply your learning in a practical way.
25th June 2026: Enrichment and raising the profile of primary languages Gain the confidence to champion primary languages within your school community. Explore numerous ways to enhance classroom learning through a range of enrichment activities and initiatives, from simple daily adjustments to whole-school strategies. You will also receive an interactive resource for immediate use in the classroom.
