Nell Seal
An ecologist and secondary geography teacher by training, Nell has worked in the education sector for 25 years including heading up a Field Study Centre and as an Advisory Teacher for Norfolk County Council. Nell is now a freelance consultant juggling many professional interests! Nell specialises in facilitating CPD training focused upon curriculum-led outdoor learning and Primary Geography; she is also a consultant to the Geographical Association (GA) and facilitates much of their primary phase CPD. Nell has been part of the moderation team for the GA’s Primary Geography Quality Mark for 10 years and has written articles for the GA publication ‘Primary Geography’. Nell is also a Level 3 Forest School practitioner, facilitating sessions for Key Stage 1 children from her local school in woodland opposite her home, and manages the quality assurance schemes for the FSA (the professional body for Forest School in the UK).
