Overview

Join me for an introduction to Seesaw’s primary-friendly tools which allow children to submit work and for teachers to set activities, collect submissions, give feedback and so much more.

This session will guide you through using Seesaw's tools, setting activities, sharing video content and keeping your class community together - wherever they are.

This session will focus on Seesaw's free tools which are available for any school to use.

Delivering remote learning to pupils presents a range of challenges, including deciding whether new content is best delivered through live (synchronous) lessons or via pre-recorded content (asynchronous).

Evidence presented by the Education Endowment Foundation makes it clear that 'teaching quality is more important than how online lessons are delivered' and that whilst live lessons can be invaluable in some cases, 'an over-reliance on live remote learning could negatively impact the most disadvantaged in our society'. In short, if all remote learning is optimised for live delivery, what is the negative impact on those who are unable to access that content in real time?
